Add Al Ain to your UAE travel itinerary! We show your the best Al Ain hotels to stay in. Known as the Garden City due to its greenery, it is the second largest city in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Al Ain has maintained its reputation as the “Garden City of the Gulf” by ensuring its oasis, tree-lined avenues and parks are consistently attended to. Strict building controls ensure that new builds are no higher than four floors and many of the hotels place a lot of emphasis on the greenery by keeping beautiful gardens and lush surroundings.
There are plenty of attractions here. Drive to the top of Jebel Hafeet for sweeping views of the mountains and town. Stop at the local camel farm or visit the zoo!

The Danat Al Ain is a popular hotel with great facilities. There is a fantastic Indian restaurant named Tanjore inside. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Abu Dhabi; the tandoori chicken is delicious! Also check out the Italian restaurant. There are several pools including a family pool and a pool with a swim up bar. There are organized kids activities for the little ones! The sports facilities are top notch here with spinning classes, aerobics, tennis, squash and more!
This is a great hotel-we visited often. It has a few good restaurants and lots of space for kids to run around outside.
Trader Vics is here- great atmosphere for an evening out with friends. The rooms are luxurious. It also has a great gym with zumba, pilates and other classes. Residents can pay a daily rate or join on an annual plan to use the gym and pool.
One of the most popular hotels in Al Ain for visitors and locals alike! There is a lovely outdoor area with parks and several pools. The rooms are spacious and family friendly. There are children's activities, playground, kids menus and cribs and high chairs available for babies and toddlers. Staff is very accommodating. Great restaurants and pubs inside too!
The Ayla Hotel is another luxury Al Ain hotel offering 5 star accommodations and superb service. It is a new stylish hotel with a great lap pool (no children allowed). They have several levels of rooms available including family rooms that can sleep 4 (quad occupancy). The breakfast here is delicious!
This is a dry hotel located on the strip(meaning no alcohol is served here). There is a mosque within walking distance as well as several shops nearby. This is an upscale boutique hotel with a small pool on the roof top and a tiny gym too. This is one of the family friendly Al Ain hotels with family suites that can sleep a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children).
A great little hotel on Jebel Hafeet (mountain) with amazing views. A great choice for families as the hotel has two pools with water slides, a mini golf course and more for kids! Food is very average though, especially compared with the great restaurants in town.
Al Massa is one of the cheapest hotels in Abu Dhabi. It is basic but comfortable with tv and mini fridge. Choose between single or double occupancy-great for those visiting on a budget. They also offer apartment style hotel rooms with kitchenettes and laundry service at another location in Al Ain.
